10" Dracaena Magenta 4 Feet Tall
Photographed individually · sold in small batches
The Dracaena Magenta, scientifically known as Dracaena marginata ‘Magenta’, is a bold and architectural houseplant loved for its slender canes topped with spiky, deep green leaves edged in rich burgundy. Its upright, sculptural form makes it an instant statement piece in modern homes, lofts, offices, and entryways. The Magenta variety brings a darker, moodier look than the classic green marginata, adding height, drama, and clean lines to any room.
Standing about 5 feet tall in an 10 inch grow pot, this Dracaena provides impressive vertical height without taking up much floor space, making it perfect for corners, beside furniture, or anywhere you want something striking and low maintenance.
How to Care for a Dracaena Magenta
- Light: Thrives in bright indirect light but is tolerant of medium and lower light areas. Avoid strong, direct sun which can scorch the leaves.
- Watering: Allow the top 3 inches of soil to dry before watering. Dracaenas prefer to stay slightly on the drier side and can be sensitive to overwatering.
- Humidity: Does well in normal household humidity (50%).
- Pets: Keep away from pets.
Each plant comes with care instructions to help it stay tall, vibrant, and thriving in your home.

Styling & placement
Check the care chips above for this plant's light needs, then match the room: bright-light plants love south- or west-facing windows; low-light varieties soften dim corners, shelves, and offices. Statement plants read best with space around them — beside a sofa, framing a window, or anchoring an empty corner. Smaller plants work in odd-numbered groups at varying heights.
