How fast will my plant arrive?
Orders ship within 1–2 business days and typically arrive in 2–4 days anywhere in the continental US. You'll get a tracking number by email the moment it ships. We hold orders placed Thursday–Friday until Monday when needed, so plants never sit in a warehouse over the weekend.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on orders over $75. Below that, the exact rate is calculated at checkout based on your address and plant size.
Will I get the exact plant in the photo?
Very close — we photograph our actual plants, not stock images. Because plants are living things, yours may vary slightly in shape, but it will match the listing's size and fullness. No surprises.
Why do plants ship bare-root?
Less soil means less weight shifting in transit, less moisture stress, and far fewer broken stems — it's how professional nurseries have moved plants for decades. The roots are wrapped snug in damp moss and kraft paper so they stay hydrated the whole trip.
What do I do when my plant arrives?
Unbox it the day it arrives, give it a drink, and repot using the simple steps included in the box — it takes about ten minutes. Then let it acclimate for a week out of direct sun before moving it to its forever spot.
Do you ship in winter or summer heat?
Yes — we add heat packs in cold months and insulated wrap in extreme heat. If a dangerous weather window is coming through your region, we may hold your order a day or two and let you know.
What if my plant arrives damaged or stressed?
Text us a photo within 48 hours of arrival — our arrive-safe promise covers every shipment. We'll walk you through recovery, and if the plant can't bounce back we'll replace it. Mild travel droop is normal and usually resolves in a few days.
What if my plant struggles weeks later?
Text us anytime — a real person answers. Send a photo and we'll diagnose watering, light, or pest issues and send personalized care steps until it's thriving. Free, forever, for every plant we ship.
Which plants are safe for pets?
Every listing shows a clear pet-safety chip, and our Pet Friendly collection only includes plants non-toxic to cats and dogs per ASPCA guidance. If a listing says 'Keep from pets', place it out of reach of curious mouths.
Can I send a plant as a gift?
Absolutely — add a gift note at checkout and we'll hand-write it on a card. Prices never appear in the box, and we include the care guide so your recipient is set up to succeed.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Text or email us as soon as possible — if your order hasn't shipped yet, we can change the address, swap plants, or cancel for a full refund. Once it's with the carrier we can't redirect it.
